TappingMate is an industrial robot which automates the processes for tapping molten metal from smelting furnaces, by using various tools, machine vision, sensors and other automation equipment. The project is a collaboration with MOMEK Group and with Elkem as the pilot customer.
The goal is to create a better working environment for employees, reduce emissions and make the industry more profitable.
